STEM Program: The project scope of work included demolition of the greenhouse and the existing three level portion of the building adjacent to the Math wing. In place of the demolished portion of the building, a 14,600 sq/ft addition/infill was constructed which included 3 stories with a full basement. The program for the addition consisted primarily of classrooms for the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math program). Estimated construction cost is $14 million. Project was completed in 2015.
Multiple Projects: The project scope of work included renovations to multiple areas including the Admin Building, Red Hall, Taft Hall, Forbes Student Center and the Math Wing. The 1st and 2nd floors of the administration wing were renovated. Red hall was substantially renovated including new air conditioning and life safety upgrades. Taft Hall was renovated to provide new classroom spaces, a darkroom and a sculpture studio. The Math Wing was renovated to provide a new location for staff offices as well as the student book store. Forbes Student Center and was a “gut” renovation and required new construction. A new elevator was provided. Estimated construction cost of $5 million.
Burnett House: The scope of work included a complete “gut” renovation of the existing space in order to accommodate the new fitout of the student day lounge. Masterplan: (code and life safety): A masterplan study of the existing campus for future renovations was the scope of this project. We evaluated the existing buildings in preparation of renovations/additions and suggesting locations for firewalls, to provide most practical areas for new construction.
