Overview:
- Acting as a state of the art repair shop for the town of Millis, this building is a 11,500 sq/ft facility.
- There are comprehensive HVAC systems, for vehicle maintenance and repair, as well as office spaces which are included in the program.
This project was a renovation MEP-FP design for the Millis department of public works facilities building located at 7-Water St in Millis, Ma. It was approximately 11,500 SF in size and was developed in order to provide a State code compliant Maintenance Repair Shop and offices for the town. New HVAC systems included Vehicle & Truck Maintenance Repair Shop/Garage Exhaust Ventilation systems. Also included were welding exhaust systems, a new Carbon Monoxide / Nitrogen Dioxide (CO/NO2) Monitoring Exhaust System; the repair & refurbishment of the two existing HVAC systems (AC-1/GF-1/ACCU-1 & AC-2/GF-2/ACCU-2) serving the offices and shop spaces; and the replacement of the existing toilet exhaust fan (TEF-1) system.
